About Us

Here to Serve

Our Mission

Here to Serve calls all members of the community to carry the burdens of individuals, families and their caregivers who face life-threatening health crises.

Our Vision

Here to Serve envisions people inspired and mobilized to carry each other’s burdens during times of crisis; where guidance and assistance is not sought after, but offered by people and organizations collaborating to compassionately respond to those navigating life-threatening health crises. We see the plethora of service organizations demystified and easily accessible, thereby easing the journey of those in medical crisis.

Here to Serve believes in collaboration! We coordinate website volunteer programs (through the Care Communities of Lotsa Helping Hands) as well as identify and help acquire highly-personalized care services from other organizations for individuals, families and their caregivers. Caregivers who manage tragic health events often find it difficult to predict impending needs. Here to Serve’s Care Coordinators help demystify assistance programs, as well as intercede, navigate, encourage and provide guidance with insurance, legal, government and other nonprofit services. We engage the community of volunteers to provide assistance with child care, meals, household chores, pet care and transportation with the help of Lotsa Helping Hands who powers these Care Communities. Here to Serve thanks Lotsa Helping Hands for their leadership and partnership with us to help those in medical crisis!

About Lotsa Helping Hands

Lotsa Helping Hands powers online caring Communities that help restore health and balance to caregivers’ lives. Our service brings together caregivers and volunteers through online Communities that organize daily life during times of medical crisis or caregiver exhaustion in neighborhoods and communities worldwide. Caregivers benefit from the gifts of much needed help, emotional support, and peace of mind, while volunteers find meaning in giving back to those in need.

Our Story

We created Lotsa Helping Hands after witnessing four years of awe-inspiring community support and response to a family member’s serious medical crisis. Seeing how earnestly friends wanted to help, and juggling the difficulty of organizing their assistance, we designed Lotsa Helping Hands with the understanding of how to bring together a variety of social circles and what a resulting community like this would need. Lotsa Helping Hands is easy to use and requires no training for either the Coordinator who creates the Community or the Members who participate.

Our Commitment to Philanthropy

Because Lotsa Helping Hands was inspired by the outpouring of support during our own caregiving experiences, we have a strong commitment to giving back. We support the nonprofit sector and align with national organizations who offer our service to their members and constituents. We donate pro bono expertise and financial resources to the nonprofit organizations we serve.
