Welcome to three-year-old Adrian "Yan Yan" Max Ruiz's Here to Serve Care Community, powered by Lotsa Helping Hands. This site has been created to coordinate volunteer support for the Ruiz family. Yan Yan Max has a difficult journey in front of him fighting for his life, and Abigail, Paul, his siblings Ace and Ayla and the entire Ruiz family have a host of challenges to face, as this is a demanding and emotionally challenging journey for the whole family. Adrian Max (nicknamed Yan Yan or Max) has a rare bone cancer known as Clival Chordoma, a tumor in close proximity to the brain stem creating complex medical needs.
